~Starshine*Magical* Horse* Herd~ {Part 1} Lead MARE is chosen! 2nd lead needs mate. (Liberty)

I got out of the river and charged at her. She fell into the water soaked so did I. I walked out of the river and shook off.

S: I giggled and shook my long mane, I followed him and shook my coat out.

I waited for the day to end then I woud ask StarLit to become my lead mare. I was so happy with her.

S: I lay down next to Gypsy and smiled, nestling in his coat.

I laid down next to Starlit and dozed off. I told Lou to be the look out.

Lou watched for enemies.

S: I fell asleep in Gypsy's soft coat.

A: I galloped over to Lib."Congratulations on second lead mare!" I said smiling.

Liberty: "Thanks." I said.

I nuzzled her muzzle then fell asleep next to her. Night came.

S: I awoke to the sound of trees brushing in the wind, I looked up at the full moon, it was beautiful I sighed. I nudged Gypsy.

I shook my coat and got up. "StarLit, come with me" I led her to a small waterfall up the stream where you could see the full moon. "Are you ready for this?" I asked her.

S:I followed up to the beautiful waterfall. I breathed deeply."I think so." I replied nuzzling him.

"Did you want to be my lead mare?" The moonlight came onto the stream.

S:"Yes, I would love to." I said smiling, my mane shimmered in the moonlight.

"Great!!" I laughed. I nuzzled her. "Come on lets go home." I said. I picked up a flower and gently dropped it in her mane.

S: I felt like I was walking on top of the world, Gypsy was the perfect mate. I trotted along beside him, giggling.

I bucked freely and together we galloped back to the herd. the next problem was mating season. I was going to let her ask me that. It was the mare's most painful part of lead mare.

S: I laughed as we galloped along. I could hear the crickets chirping, it was definitely mating season.

When we got back to the herd. I showed her the leaders cave. Lib was already sleeping in the corner. I laid down in the opposite corner and waited for Starlit to get comfy.

S: I walked into the cave happily. I went over to where Gypsy was and nestled in the hay.

Amistad: I galloped towards the herd I saw last night. I so wanted to join. It would be great to have a place to rest for a couple of months, then continue my journey. "Hey Cedar!" I called to my friend.

Cedar: "Yes? There? That herd?" I said, raising my voice over the wind.

Amistad: "Yah! " I said and galloped closer so we wouldn't have to yell. "Looks good for a few moons." I whinnied.

Cedar: "Okay!" I said and slowed as I approached it.

Amistad: I looked around, for a horse to talk to.

Sky: I cantered on. I needed to find somewhere to live. I'd been surviving on my own for months now. I spotted a herd further on and picked up the pace.

Lou reared and lt out a piercing whinny telling Gypsy more enemies or members were on their way.

Gypsy: "Sorry to disturb our little nap, but you got your first new members lead mare" I said flirting. I trotted up to Lou. "Where are they?"

Lou pointed to the North, West, and East. "There surrounding us, Sir..."

Gypsy trotted back to Starlit, " 3 horses are surrounding us. Should we take them by force or by words/warnings?" I asked cautiously.

S: I grinned happily."Can't wait." I replied nuzzling him."Words." I suggested calmly."They could be friends, we shouldn't jump to conclusions."

Amistad: Cedar and I approached them. "Hello there..I, uh, see this is a herd. My friend and I have been travelling, and we need a place to stay for a few months. " I whinneyed in a soft tone.
Cedar: I nodded. "I'm Cedar, and he's Amistad." I said, then pulled back my ears, sensind tension in the Gypsy Vanner. "We only wish to come in peace, Gypsy." I blurted.

"How do you know my name?" I laughed. "You guys are free to join. 2nd lead mare needs a mate. Lead Lead mare already chosen. oh, my name's Gypsy by the way!" He added then calmly showed them around and gave them there caves. "God night"

S: I smiled politely at them."I'm Starlit, lead mare." I said.
