GemStone Rose herd [lead stallion needed] 1st book

"No, they aren't, you are"he said blushing

"Why thank you" She said smiling "Thats awful kind, lets continue" She continued to gallop towards the mountains.

"It's true, ok"she said

Marina was flattered by how complimentary Nacho was. She galloped to the mountian and up the path "Come on Nacho!" She yelled.

"ok, I don't want to get ahead of you though"he said

"Ok!" She smiled, when she got to the top she looked out the wind blowing her pale hair everywhere. She saw the gems cave and the meadow, "Isn't it beautiful?" She asked not wanting and answer really just wanting to say that.

"yes"he said smiling & gazing into her eyes

Marina could tell Nacho liked her, she thought almost every stallion would because she was lead mare. She liked Nacho but as a friend, she wanted someone to love her because she was herself not because of her position in the herd. She felt she'd never find love.

Nacho didn't even know much about the herd,he didn't even know she was lead mare "So, who are the lead mare & stallion?"he asked curiously

"Ummm there is no lead Stallion" She said she wasn't going to mention she was lead mare if he asked again she would tell him.

"oh" he said surprised

Marina was glad he never asked about lead mare she wouldn't know what to tell him.

"So, what should we do know"he asked

"Ummm I don't know maybe Sapphire lake?" She asked.

"ok"he said smiling as she waited for her to lead him!

Marina was extremly surprised he still hadn't asked about lead mare, hopefully he wouldn't ask. "Ok it's this way" She smiled.

Nacho followed Marina "ok, coming"he said smiling

When they got to the lake Marina waded out into the water then sighed. "Nacho...." She said "There is something about me I didn't tell you" She frowned "I'm just not sure how you're going to take it."

"oh,ok" he replied curiously as he trotted into the water

"Ummm well...." She studdered "I'm lead mare" She said quickly then closed her eyes for impact.

"oh"he said confused

"I'm sorry..." She said "I haven't really told anyone..." She frowned "I'm so stupid," She said.

"It's ok, I understand, your not stupid"Nacho said smiling trying to cheer his friend up as he trotted over to an apple tree "here" he said as he nudged an apple towards her

"You know I don't want all the Stallions falling all over me so I don't tell them," She smiled, "I'm glad you understand" Marina was sure that Nacho understood and wasn't going to fall all over her.
